What is Membership?
1 Corinthians 12:12
“For just a the body is one and has many members, all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ,”
At Heartland, we believe that when you accept Jesus as your Savior and are baptised by immersion, you become a part of the body of Christ, the Church. You also have the oppurtunity to place membership with us. As a member, you have a vital role to play and unique gifts that God has given you to serve within the local church. Becoming a member means that you are commiting to not only to join Heartland in our missio to Love God and Love People,, but also intentionally choosing to leverage your time, talent, gifts, and finances to help us make disciples.
Why be a Member?
When you become a follower of Jesus, you are announcing you need not only Jesus’ saving grace but also to be a part of a community of followers of Jesus. You need us and we need you. When you become a member that gives us the oppurtunity to help, you get connected in the life of our church.
